Waiting on the Lord

Someone posted this song on the Reece's Rainbow group and I stole it.  I needed it today.

"While I'm Waiting" by John Waller

I'm waiting
I'm waiting on You, Lord
And I am hopeful
I'm waiting on You, Lord
Though it is painful
But patiently, I will wait

I will move ahead, bold and confident
Taking every step in obedience
While I'm waiting
I will serve You
While I'm waiting
I will worship
While I'm waiting
I will not faint
I'll be running the race
Even while I wait

I'm waiting
I'm waiting on You, Lord
And I am peaceful
I'm waiting on You, Lord
Though it's not easy
But faithfully, I will wait
Yes, I will wait
I will serve You while I'm waiting
I will worship while I'm waiting
I will serve You while I'm waiting
I will worship while I'm waiting
I will serve you while I'm waiting
I will worship while I'm waiting on You, Lord

  2. I love this song too and have been singing it a lot lately. I was able to get an e-mail address for our local USCIS office and that seemed to get things moving for us. I had to contact that Dallas USCIS office, however, in order to get our local office's e-mail. Go figure! I'll be praying that you get your appointment soon!!! Aaron is one handsome dude as are your other 2 boys!!!

I'm sure I've met you at the NC homeschooling conference in Winston-Salem because I stopped by the biblioplan booth 2yrs. ago. I really LOVED that whole idea (because I love history as well) but I think that year I was already committed to My Father's World. Anyway, if you wanted to e-mail me you can reach me at kpfarf@nc.rr.com

  3. I got your comment, and I want you to know, that although the process does seem ridiculous sometimes, it IS worth it!! So, whatever you are going through right now on the adoption front, push through it and know that the reward on the "other side of the rainbow" is worth every second, every gray hair, every tear, every mommy blow out, all of it, worth every thing!!

  4. Waiting is so very hard, but God's timing is perfect!

Thanks for the song, the lyrics are perfect.

Lyndi - Thanks for the words of encouragement, not only to Julia, but to all of us who are going through our adoptions.
