Patiently Waiting...

Laughing to myself because I know that most of my dear blog readers are NOT patiently waiting.  My ears are still ringing from all the fussing sent our way!  Oh Dear!

Ever have news you just can't blurt out because you don't know how to and also... you are not sure it is going to happen exactly like you think and you don't want to jump the gun and also.... you are wrestling with the old issue of faith etc. etc.???

THAT is my problem.  So far this morning I have heard no news (I'm longing for news as much as you are) and may not for a few days because this stuff is not happening in the USA and the language, culture and time barrier just make things a bit difficult for everyone.  PLUS - my dear contacts over there whom God placed so perfectly to help jump-start this are now on this side of the ocean so I have lost my inside scoop.

So PLEASE keep praying.... I WILL inform... I Promise... Just keep praying.  This is God's work - It is SO not mine.  It involves LONG TERM ministry to an institute filled with boys who are desperately needy.  My eyes fill with tears just thinking about it.

To help with the wait.... I decided to give you what ALWAYS makes everyone smile.... PICTURES... of AARON!!  Rob and I hosted the annual Nalle family gathering yesterday.... 26 people in our little house.... It was crowded and noisy but so much fun.... eating, singing, opening presents.... how can you go wrong???

Aaron was amazing.  We had no idea how he would handle having to share his toys with 5 other little people.  We kept Pooh safe on top of the couch so that he would not have to share his prized possession but beyond that, he was as happy as we have ever seen him.

Grubby face and all....

  9. Aaron is totally adorable and his smile is incredible, so full of pure joy. I cpuld never guess he lived an entire year in a terrible institution from seeing these photos. It´s only because I followed his journey that I know of his past and that´s why the photos are even more heartwarming to see :)

  17. Used to be he tried out smiling just with his grin then it spread to his eyes and then whole face and now his whole body shouts fully abandoned joy!! Yeah, God!! What an incredible work of God that you have been privileged to partner with Him for... More boys lined up for that as we pray... : )
