Wednesday Wanderings

It's a little bit of this and a little bit of that this morning....

Rob's Dad continues to hang out in the hospital so we are taking turns hanging out with him.  It has made for a bit of an exhausting week but God's Grace is Sufficient!  He's having complications from his hip surgery last week.  Please pray that his body gets back 'on-line'.... He's getting extremely weak from lack of food and his patience has gone a bit out the window.

CUTE AARON STORY...

On Monday I let Aaron go outside without his braces.

He was definitely a bit skeptical about walking barefoot outside.  He is still NOT used to those beautiful flat feet of his.  But because he is a very compliant little boy most of the time, he went outside to play happily in his dirt pile with his trucks.  10 minutes later he comes back to the house with tears pouring down his face and pointing to his feet.  Did he get stung?  A splinter?  A cut?  I couldn't see anything because his feet were covered with dirt so I picked the weeping little guy up and put him on the counter to wash off his feet in the sink and see the damage.  The more  I washed - the happier he became.  No stings.  No splinters.  No cuts.  Only a happy Aaron with his feet dancing under the running faucet.  He was crying because his feet were dirty.

Silly silly boy!!

See this cutie... This is Liam..

His Mom, Amy, is working hard to bring him home.  She is one of my heroes because not only is she a single mom who has adopted before but also is the Family Services Coordinator for the Reece's Rainbow Russian adoptions.  You can see her cute picture HERE

Amy's doing an iPad Giveaway PLUS is giving away some much needed gas cards.  Please consider helping her out.

Also....

See these two precious treasures???

Moira and Nastya

Moira has Arthrogryposis like our Aaron and Nastya has Aperts like sweet Jonah.

The Ferrone family is leaving in just a few days and still need 3,000.00 to be fully covered for their adoption.  Please consider hoping over to their blog and helping them.

FINALLY....

Brady's parents are leaving THIS WEEKEND.

Dear Friends..... You need to COVER THEM IN PRAYER.  Please stop by Melanie's blog and let her know that you are praying for her.  They also need a few thousand to have their adoption fully funded.  Every single nickel helps.

Please...

I wanted to hold him, kiss his dirty little cheeks, whisper in his little ears how much I cared - I never got that opportunity though I saw him every single day.  Tiny little Brady's family is coming soon.  I can't wait to see pictures of this little guy in their arms... There are just no words for that day....

  2. Aaron reminds me of 'Little Man' in "Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry". He never likes to be dirty either!

    I didn't know about your father-in-law. I'll be praying!
