Fatherless Friday

My favorite page on the Reece's Rainbow website:

And look whose picture has made it on that page!!

EASTON HAS A FAMILY!

It has been a LONG time coming.  I posted about this precious boy over 6 months ago on a Weepy Wednesday after I was contacted by a family who had to release him.  That post is HERE.  They have been praying their hearts out for Easton.  God heard.

Easton has a family.  Sweet words on this Fatherless Friday.  Thank you Lord.

But we cannot rest because there are too many others who need families.

This little guy desperately needs a loving family to come get him soon.

PS. - THOUGH IGOR DOES NOT HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH REECE'S RAINBOW BECAUSE HE IS AN OLDER CHILD - THERE IS A FAMILY WHO HAS RAISED OVER 2,000.00 FOR HIM!! AS SOON AS A FAMILY COMMITS TO IGOR - THAT MONEY WILL BE PLACED INTO HIS RR ACCOUNT!!
Igor has Arthrogryposis like Aaron.  He is facing transfer soon.  He can't walk.  At Aaron's institute - I doubt they would stick him in a laying down room because he can sit up.  He would instead get to be one step higher on the food chain there.  They will sit him in a wheelchair and push him to one of the sheds.  He will sit inside that shed with boys of all ages sitting in there with him.  Imagine a 6 year old little boy from a baby house inside that shed.  Some of the boys will hit him out of pure boredom.  No one will stop them.  He will cry but no one will listen.  He will be forced to listen to the boys moan and cry out all day.  Rocking, beating themselves, hitting their heads against the walls.  He will not have a toy or a book or anything else to entertain him.  The only relief in his day will come when he is pushed in his wheelchair to the dining shed where he will have to eat his food as fast as he can.  If his hands don't work well then he will be dependent upon the two overworked caretakers in charge of 20 disabled boys to feed him his food.  Chances are he will leave the table hungry.  That is what Igor faces if he is transferred to Aaron's institute.

Igor needs a family.

Plain and simple.

So does this little one.

Isn't she the cutest little thing???  Oh My Goodness.

Her prayer warrior and I have joined together to pray Erin home.  Someone go get her!!  Doesn't she look like she's full of herself?

Her tiny little description says she is calm and social.  I think the social part is correct.... but what I see in her eyes is a full of life, don't want to sit in a shed everyday of my life for the rest of my life, full of energy little girl.  She needs a Mama and a Papa and some brothers and sisters who will run her socks off out in the yard.  That's what she needs.  Someone go get her!!

I want to give a shout out to God this morning....

Remember Ian?

THEY ARE FULLY FUNDED!  They needed thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars to get this boy and this morning I was going to yell again for them because that mountain was so high but I don't have too... God provided all that they needed.  Thank you to everyone on this blog who sacrificially gave to one little discarded boy across the ocean.  He's coming home!!

But there are many families who still have great need.

Paisley's family is doing a last-ditch Giveaway that is chock-a-block full of prizes....

Like Ian's family - every single time they have raised what they thought they needed, the Tam's have discovered that the bar has been raised.  The ransom for this little one is high.  Not too high for the Father of the Fatherless though.  Please be His hands and feet this Friday.  Go help this family.  Their link is HERE.

And this family - bringing home this little guy....

ANDRIY

He is beyond precious!!!

His family is doing a Giveaway that again - is chock full of stuff.....

Go HERE and help them out!!

And sweet Liam.... His family still needs around 8,000.00 to be fully funded.

A plain old donation would be just fine in their book.  You can drop a donation HERE

Every single five dollar bill helps these families!!

And finally this morning (I wish I could feature every family out there...)

The Barnett family is crossing the ocean soon to get these THREE treasures:

You need to click HERE to go drop some money in their hat. All they are waiting on is their travel date.

And last but NOT LEAST.....For those who want to meet Patrick's family - Their blog is here:  PATRICK'S FAMILY.  Go check them out and follow along on their journey to the little boy who made me cry for 3 solid days!!

Julia, THANK YOU for including Igor in your blog! Our family has prayed for him for over a year and raised more than $2000 (and still working at it!) for Igor. We look forward to sending it to the family that decides to adopt him! We also know of a youth group that has raised $$ for him. Praying he is rescued SOON!
