I Am Still With You

You have searched me, LORD,
   and you know me.

You know when I sit and when I rise;
   you perceive my thoughts from afar.

Niko

You discern my going out and my lying down;
   you are familiar with all my ways.

Before a word is on my tongue
   you, LORD, know it completely.

Sasha

You hem me in behind and before,
   and you lay your hand upon me.

Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
   too lofty for me to attain.

Hanson

 Where can I go from your Spirit?
   Where can I flee from your presence?

 If I go up to the heavens, you are there;

Marcus

   if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.

 If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
   if I settle on the far side of the sea,

Carter

 even there your hand will guide me,
   your right hand will hold me fast.

 If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me
   and the light become night around me,”

Daniel

even the darkness will not be dark to you;
   the night will shine like the day,

   for darkness is as light to you.
 For you created my inmost being;

   you knit me together in my mother’s womb.

     Ivan

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;

 your works are wonderful,

 I know that full well.

My frame was not hidden from you

 when I was made in the secret place,

when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.

Your eyes saw my unformed body;

all the days ordained for me were written in your book

before one of them came to be.

 How precious to me are your thoughts, God!

How vast is the sum of them!

Were I to count them,

 they would outnumber the grains of sand—

when I awake, I am still with you.

P.S. - All the flower pictures on this post were taken by Elijah!

  7. This was beautiful! I loved the juxtaposition of those made in God's image with photos of things that nearly everyone would consider beautiful. The thing is, those precious kiddos are so So SO much more beautiful than flowers to my Lord. Do I value them like He does?

  8. Julia,
    I just wanted to give a shout out to Niko's and Sasha's mom and dad. Perhaps you don't know it's you yet, but just a little bug in your ear, both of these boys have grants that are over $3000 with Project HOPEFUL. You can contact me at traci@projecthopeful.org to learn more about the grants, but all you need to do really to receive the grant is say yes to either or both of these precious boys. Funds can be released to cover expenses immediately. (the only thing the grant can't pay for is the home study.)
    I hope and pray that their families come forward soon.

  9. Sasha, Nico, Carter, Francis, Vitaly and Ross are all on the Zero the Zeros list - our goal is for each of them to have $50 in their fund by the 4th of July. They all already have at least $20. Would any of the readers here like to put their name down for one of these boys to try to get them over the $50 hurdle? https://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Zero-the-Zeros-of-Reeces-Rainbow/266168796792020
