NINETY SEVEN DOLLARS!!

That is all we need to match Porter's matching grants!!

$97.00

WOW!!!

THANK YOU THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE WHO ARE GIVING AND PRAYING AND LOVING PORTER!!

Please keep praying for Porter.  One of our greatest fears when we adopted Aaron was that the institution would break him.  So many children go in with their minds intact but the complete lack of stimulation causes most of them to lose what they have.  We saw boys there who were most likely cognitively normal when they arrived but you would never have known it by looking at them.

We knew going in that there was a great possibility that Aaron would no longer be the smiling dimpled boy in the picture after a year of transfer.  It was a very real possibility.

I firmly believe that God preserved Aaron's mind.  Instead of begging for money during our process, we spent much of our time begging for prayers for our son.  That God would preserve him.  That he would not lose his faculties.  That he would be cared for and protected.  We passed out 400+ pictures with PRAY FOR ME, LOVE AARON written on them.  We shared his story with everyone we met and BEGGED THEM TO PRAY.  God heard.

God answered that prayer for us.

We need to be lifting Porter daily to throne.  Praying protection over him.  THOSE PRAYERS ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD!

Take his picture.  Print it out and put it on your refrigerator.  Pray for him each time you see his picture.  Pray for a family to go get him.  Pray that the caretakers would LOVE him and protect him.  Pray that his mind and spirit would be preserved.  Pray that God would whisper life and hope into his heart.  Pray for Porter.  Pray.

----------------------------------

And while you are in the praying business... Pray for Ian and all the babes in Ple*in.

THOSE KIDS NEED PRAYERS OF PROTECTION DAILY.

The Browns (remember them from our Mulligan Stew Giveaway) are soon crossing the ocean and they definitely need our prayers.  The little one in yellow - 16 year old - Sophia - SHE IS NOT DOING WELL.  From what I understand she is/was back in the hospital.

Oh please pray for these kids!!!

THE PLE*IN KIDS ARE DESPERATE FOR US TO LIFT THEM UP TO THE THRONE.

Ian's family is so so close to going over there for their first trip.

AND THEY ONLY NEED $180.00 TO MATCH THE ONE MATCHING GRANT FROM BRITTANY'S HOPE!!

That is So So Very Close!!  Anyone want to help them get even closer???  They had some cool gift certificates added yesterday and rumor has it that even MORE stuff is being added today for their giveaway!!  So go over and help them match their grants and maybe you will win some prizes....

THANK YOU FOR HELPING THESE KIDS... THESE FAMILIES!!  THANK YOU!!

  1. I tried to post yesterday but it didn't go through...I wanted everyone to know that my children were SO BLESSED to read all of the encouraging comments to them and to learn of the many donations made to the Rogers family! Thank you so much for being a part of God showing us how He works all things for good for those who love Him. They would be thrilled if the money needed for the matching grant is raised. They hope to get to the store today to get materials again so they can get busy again for orphans :)
    God bless you all!

  2. I have a question - I'd like to order dishclothes from the Adamson website, but I'd like the money to go toward the matching grant if possible. Which account should I put the money in?

    1. I think you should ask the Adamson kids this question. I am a bit out of the loop as far as how they are donating their money for their crafts. I actually asked that their money from the yard sale NOT be part of the matching grant money so that it would go toward the 5,000 needed since the Rogers need MORE than just what we need to raise for the grants.

  3. OK, well then I think I'll put it directly in the chip-in on their website. Thanks!

    1. Hi Miss. Allison,
I think you donated to our chip-in, but we never got any order. I think you commented that you wanted dishcloths, but I cannot reach the email the chip-in gave us.
Could you get back to us if you see this?
      Thanks!

  4. Hi Julia ~ Thank You, for your prayers. My health has taken a major turn, as of last week. I am losing me eyesight, due to tumor growth that is pressing on my optical nerves. The treatments I had been doing were not effective and there are no more treatment options at this time. And, while my heart is heavy, I know He holds me near to His heart and any healing will come from Him alone.
I wanted to tell the Adamson children how sorry I am at the loss of their handmade products. But, I KNOW that only good will come out of the situation. I truly believe that whoever has those items will have a story to tell. A story of love and redemption. And, I did make a donation to the Roger's family yesterday after reading your post. The entire story is going to bring forth things that none of them ever imagined!
Thank You, for sharing the true Beauty and Faith that these children displayed! They touched me deeply and changed a part of me for the good. Love to ALL of them!
And, love to all of your family! ~ jo
