We need to raise 3,123.00 so that $11,700.00 will be donated!

Isn't that crazy??

Will you help?

MOST IMPORTANTLY...

We are not raising money for our Choir Boys for the pleasure of seeing their sweet faces.

30520133548 30520132428

We are not raising money so we can sit back and marvel at how God provided.

We are not raising money so that I have a reason to blog every day!!

We are definitely not raising money for that reason!!!

We are raising money so they can find families.

THEY NEED FAMILIES.

THEY NEED FAMILIES.

Porter 2013 30520133224

We cannot let them sit in those sheds and waste away day after day.

THEY NEED FAMILIES!

WE are raising money so we can remove the biggest barrier to adoption - Finances.

We are raising money to give those four lonely boys a voice.  Hope.  A future.

Please listen to their song!

Catching My Breath

I need to catch my breath.

Goodness gracious this is crazy!

Let me just start this post by saying....

BRENTON HAS A FAMILY!!!!

YES HE DOES!

Praise God Praise God!!

TALK ABOUT TAKING IT DOWN TO THE WIRE!!!

THANK YOU GOD!

And while I am shouting praises....

GUESS WHO IS IN THE AIR FLYING ACROSS THE OCEAN AS I TYPE THIS BLOGPOST???

Last night Val Deutsch called me from the airport and as soon as I heard her voice I started crying.  She was crying.  I was crying.  What a weepy couple of women on that phone.

Two weeks ago, in utter desperation and despair, they sent out a cry for help.

Two weeks ago they were wondering and doubting and just completely at the end of the line.

Two weeks ago Rob and I lost many hours of sleep as we wondered how we could add them in to our Symphony.

Last night we were two blubbering women praising God in the midst of wiping our tears.

I WISH YOU COULD HAVE HEARD US!

If Val could hug every one of you who gave to them she would do it in a heartbeat.  They are crossing the ocean with peace in their heart because you poured on the love for them in these last two weeks.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU...

And to add to my list of praises...

Guess which Mulligan Stew babe met his Mama and Papa this week????

HE SAID YES.... HE WANTS A FAMILY!!!!

Oh my goodness I have been a wreck this week following the Bakers as they are across the ocean....

Next week they are going to meet another of our Mulligan Stew babes:

I'm going to be drowning in tears of joy next week.... Frank's going to meet his family.. Estelle and Gerard are going to meet their family...

AND....

The Johnsons.... They too are getting ready to board the plane this weekend to go get their boys!

THEY WERE IN OUR MULLIGAN STEW IN CASE YOU FORGOT!!

This summer I had the privilege of meeting Erin and one of the boys they are adopting at Aaron's birthday party!  He was being hosted by them this summer!!

Isn't he precious.... Look at his shirt and pants!!  Just a few more days... a few more days...

I didn't have the Johnsons in this Giveaway but not because I didn't want them.  I just didn't have a matching grant for them and that was the criteria.  I wanted so badly to share and beg for help for them because they were short by thousands.

But God didn't need me!! Last week the Johnsons received donations from three different people that totaled 3,000.00.  PRAISE GOD PRAISE GOD!!

They are only about $400.00 short of being fully funded.

If anyone here wants to help fill up their cup.... please don't hesitate!!

Their blog is HERE.

AND HERE'S ANOTHER REASON WHY I AM TRYING TO CATCH MY BREATH THIS MORNING.....

HEATH'S FAMILY GOT THEIR TRAVEL DATES...

YES!!!!!!

Three years ago we walked out of that institute promising that we would do everything we could to  find him a family.

It has been a LONG three years.

I am already weeping and they are not even there yet.

And by the way... did you realize that we have raised OVER 19,400 in this Giveaway???

 IS THAT CRAZY???

And in case you missed the news....

BRENTON HAS A FAMILY!!

HE HAS A FAMILY!!

Okay... I need to go find some oxygen.....

...............................

READ THIS....

“Brenton is a sweet little guy who doesn’t look anything like a 15 year old. I thought he was more like 7 or 8, and he’s the size of a very young child. He is nonverbal but he loves affection. He would scoot himself over to me and grab my hand and hold it very tightly. It was actually hard to take my hand away from him because his grip is so strong. He wanted to be in close physical contact, and he would wiggle his way onto my lap. When he is riding in his wheelchair outside, he flaps his hands around in a very distinctive way. This boy is a real cuddle-bug!”

Someone out there needs this sweet boy in their family!!

Someone out there is right now feeling the tapping of the Holy Spirit.

Please listen.  Please listen.

To see him boy locked away for the rest of his life is just too much to bear.

PRAY. YELL. SHOUT.  SCREAM.  PRAY. SHARE.

WE NEED TO FIND THIS CHILD A FAMILY!

The Longing Of a Boy's Heart

Do you see?

Do you see the look in his eyes?

The longing in his heart?

The boy in the white shirt..  Do you see how he has leaned in... soaking up...

Hanging on... Hanging on to this man for dear life??

Do you see?

This boy who walks the streets alone now.

This boy who is making life-choices that are too big and too hard for his shoulders to carry.

Do you see him??

Do you see him??

That is Ianto.

Just a boy desperate for a daddy.

Hanging around as he watches two of his friends chosen.

Hanging around and wishing.  Hoping.  Longing.

Will you love me too?

Will you be my Daddy too?

Will you cross the ocean for me??

Do you see him?

Do you see the longing in his heart?

Soon sweet boy.

Soon.

The answer is YES and YES and YES again.

Just hang on.

Hang on.

He now KNOWS they are coming..

He KNOWS who they are.

He desperately wants to be with them.

A little over a month ago another RR family was there at his internat and talked to him and reassured him that he has not been forgotten.

He immediately started to pack his bags.

Soon sweet boy.  Soon.

But he isn't at the internat now.

This boy so hungry for love.

Even though he is ONLY 15 years old... he graduated from the internat and is now in a trade school.

Picture a boarding school for adolescent boys and girls with no one watching over them.  Shepherding them.  Guarding them.

Picture a trade school where no one has considered the aptitudes, talents or abilities of the students learning the trade.

Picture a school where young boys and girls are easy prey for those on the outside to use them.  Manipulate them.  Abuse them.

He's struggling.

It isn't a good fit.

He  desperately needs a dad.

A mom.

A family.

Soon, sweet boy.  Soon.

Oh Please, Please! Pray for Ianto.

Pray protection around his heart.  Pray for him to hang on and not give up.  Pray that the Rowes will be submitted SOON so they can get travel dates.

Pray people.  Pray.

He's just one orphan boy out of millions of orphan boys.

But he matters.

He matters to the Rowes and he matters to us.

The choice he will have to make in a few months will be a life-changing choice.

He will have to choose family over the streets.

He will have to choose rules over freedom.

He will have to choose submission over self-rule.

He has to make a life-changing choice that will impact the rest of his life.

Please pray for him.

Please!!

The Rowe's still need $1,522.00 for their matching grant to be matched.... Once it is matched...They will be just about be FULLY FUNDED for Ianto.

Just typing that sends shivers down my spine.

When I first spoke to Janice about their financial need all the way back in the early summer I wondered if it would be possible.  They had so much to raise and so little time.  Their reserves were completely dry.  Two adoptions in a year already had drained them.  They had already begged family and friends to help them with the other adoptions.  How in the world were they going to raise the ransom for this one?  But they could NOT leave Ianto behind.  They just could not leave him behind.  So they stepped out in the biggest leap of faith and have watched God provide.

$1,522 separates them from being almost fully funded for him.

That's it.

Just a drop in the bucket compared to what they needed only a few months ago.

Let's finish it up.

Stand behind this family as they offer this boy hope and a future.

Help them bring their Forsaken Tune into their family!

He Will Wipe Every Tear From Their Eyes

Precious boy.

This world was not kind to you.

You were rejected right from the start.

Your extra chromosome in a world that only wanted the perfect amount.

Your dark eyes and hair in a world that believes that blonde is beautiful.

Oh sweet Kyle.

Oh sweet Kyle.

Come quickly Lord Jesus.

Come quickly.

And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Look!  God's dwelling place is now among the people, and He will dwell with them.  They will be His people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God.  He will wipe every tear from their eyes.  There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

New Giveaway Items

I stole this picture.

It made me cry when I saw it yesterday on Carla's blog.

It would have been Henry's birthday yesterday.

Do you see the song he is singing to his Mama in this picture?

A song of love and joy.

I wish I could share with you the pictures that Carla shared with me of two of her New Songs.

Oh my gracious if you were to see those pictures you would be emptying your pockets.

Carla and Paul leave in a matter of weeks.

They now have travel dates.

They are packing their bags.

Plane tickets are being purchased.

Final arrangements are being made.

They are crossing the ocean to bring home three children.

THREE.

Two sisters and a brother.

The older sister "Susan" begged for someone to adopt her and her little brother and sister.  She is not in the same place as they are and her heart is grieved.  She has lost everything in the world that matters to her but in just a few weeks.... Her world is going to be turned upside down when she discovers that she not only has a Mama and Papa who WANT HER but they are going to rescue her little brother and her little sister too!

Oh don't you want to be there??

Don't you want to be there when she realizes that the cries of her heart have been heard by the Conductor of this Symphony?

Don't you want to watch her when she is finally finally re-united with her little sister and her little brother?

I do.

I want to be a little bug on the wall and watch brother and sisters united at last!

I want to hear the song those three children will be singing!

I would be crying a river.

I would be crying a river.

The Dobrovits are $117.00 from matching their grant and about $3,117.00 from being fully funded.

Carla told me yesterday that they figure they will have to take out a home equity loan to cover what they can't raise.

Not if I can help it!

I have NO problem with people taking out loans to adopt.  IF that is what it takes to ransom a child than that is what it takes and I have many friends who have taken out loans to bring their children home.  Taking out a loan doesn't mean God didn't provide.  It is another means by which He provided!

But it is NOT ideal - especially when you are adopting multiple children and two of them have special needs.

Especially when Paul and Carla just buried a child less than a year ago.

They are so close to being funded.

Please let's rally around them....

Let's get their grant matched and let's fill up their bucket and get them funded!!
