Motherless Monday

One little boy across the ocean.

Artem.

Just one little boy with Down Syndrome and FAS sitting in a baby house across the ocean.

Just one little boy among many little boys.

Motherless.

Soon to be transferred.  Very soon.

He needs a family.   Plain and simple.  It is my goal to do whatever I can to find a family for him.

This October - the goal on this blog and my friend Patti's blog is to raise Artem's grant money.

Our goal is to get his account to 10,000.

He currently has 7740.94

He needs 2259.06 to make 10,000.00

We are NOT asking for much... Just FIVE DOLLARS from each of our readers.

5.00

Pocket change.

I bet you could find that much hidden in the folds of your couch.

Or in your whatnot drawer in the kitchen.

How about in the ashtray in your car.

5.00

One little motherless boy.

Will you take part?

Just click on Artem's Paypal link on the top right and go donate 5.00.

If you want to donate more... well... NO ONE WILL COMPLAIN!!

  5. Hey Julia! I wanted to let you know that a bunch of us moms who adopted from the Nikolaev baby house are sending Christmas to the kids. Since Aaron spent his first few years there I thought you'd be interested or could help spread the word!
