Sunday Meditation

Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called.

Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth.

But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise;

God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.

 God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things

—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are,

so that no one may boast before him.

It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus,

who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.

Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.”

All the sweet children on this page can be found HERE.  They all have arthrogryposis.  They all need families.

  1. Oh how I love Victoria, saw here the first time I saw Ian. I don't know why Ian was our calling and not Victoria, but I have to believe that God has a mighty plan for her. My heart just aches and aches for her. I'm sending you an email with something I made with Victoria in it many months ago when I was crying so about not being able to go get her and bring her home.

  3. Thanks for posting "my" Victoria's picture in this post! No, I can't be her Mamma, but she is special to me and I do hope she gets a family soon! Glad to see Igor here too! Thanks for advocating for these children! You have a large audience on your blog -- I know God uses and blesses your efforts!

  4. I think the last little girl in pink, "Sandra" on RR was posted on the My Family Found Me page a while back.

  5. Oh my Anastasia...how I long to bring her home to a house full of sisters who would dote on her and worry over her. She reminds me of my "rogue blonde" Autie. My Autie is our only blondie and her hair looked a lot like Ana's at that age.
