NO APOLOGIES NECESSARY!!!
PLEASE - No apologies necessary when your donations 'seem' too small. No need to say that you feel bad about giving too little. I don't consider any donation amount too small. I love when small kids take their precious piggy banks and break them open to donate to the orphans. I rejoice when college students forgo pizza to drop $5.00 in a needy family's account. I take delight in the elderly couple who puts their little bit here and there. And the families who are adopting... who are trying to raise their own funds... PLEASE DON'T APOLOGIZE!! You are most certainly my heroes!! To give when you are trying to scrape your own pennies... Goodness me!! You just make my heart sing!
So PLEASE... Big donations and small donations. All are accepted without need for any apology!
Anyway - You can't apologize because then I would have to apologize. Our donations are not any bigger than many of yours. And if I have to apologize for mine... I just might start thinking that mine don't matter because they are just too small. I might walk away from a giveaway like this one because what difference would I make and what chance would I ever have of winning one of those prizes.
But I am here to tell you that I have WON in several giveaways with crumpled five dollar bill donations. In the last year I won an iPod right in time for Elijah's birthday. I won a quilt that covers our bed. I have won necklaces and shirts and gift certificates. I have won with my little tiny amounts. So don't write off your chances just because your offerings seem small to you! And PLEASE DON'T APOLOGIZE!! I do not accept them!

Julia, what a great idea to make a goal for each child! I'll bet that most will be there by the end of the day!
ReplyDeleteHi Julia, not much but donated $10 to Maria's family.
ReplyDeleteAmazing that over $7,000 has come in already! Keep up the good work, everyone! Julia, thank you for the reminder that no gift is too small. God is good at stretching the money, so there ends up being more than enough. I'm believing for there to be more than enough for each person sitting at the table and enjoying the stew. MORE THAN ENOUGH!
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm sharing this on my FB right now (again) and I've donated $10 to the Heim family and $20 to little Hanson's fund. He's such a little guy and he's already been transferred. Plus... he had the smallest amt of donation.
ReplyDeleteWe donated to Maria's family and some others. All donations were $20. Here are the families. Helm, Unroe, Archer, Carpenter, Burman, Menges, Duncan, Booth and Sousa. We also put $20 in little Hanson's account. We wish we could do more. We will keep working to help bring the children home. God will provide.
ReplyDeleteHi Julia- I was able to give $5 to Maria's family and $15 to Igor's grant. $20 total, may it multiple and multiple.
ReplyDeleteI donated $20 to the Heim family!

ReplyDeleteThanks for all of your work for the kids and families. We donated $50 each for Maria and Jack and $100 for Emmit.
ReplyDeletePlease PLEASE may Jack find a family soon? He is so sweet. and I am terrified to advocate for an older child, but I just know he deserves the same chance as any other kid!
ReplyDeleteI donated to Maria and then to Hanson for a total of $10 and will share the giveaway on FB as well. Thanks for your passion for the fatherless and making a difference.
ReplyDeleteJack just stole my heart! Sadly, we don't qualify to adopt from his region but I know his family is out there - waiting eagerly for them to find him!

ReplyDeleteWe donated $20 to the Heim family..$50 to Hanson, $50 to Heath and $30 to Emmitt. Thank you for all that you are doing...(Email to follow).
ReplyDeleteLast year, I was Hanson's "5-5-5" advocate. We raised a little money for him, but not very much. And I must admit, I had a little hope for him, but not very much. Dear Hanson has a hope! Of course, I should have known that -- with God all things are possible & He loves to seek the lost. Thank you so much for what you are doing! May God bless you and may little Hanson be brought home or Home and may God change lives through his.
ReplyDeleteDonated $20 to The Heim Family. Will be back to look through the other children and donate to them soon!
