Praying for Selah

I was going to share pictures this morning of Aaron's first day at school.  But this is more important.  This little Reece's Rainbow precious treasure came home from across the ocean last winter.  She's been in a horrible accident and needs our prayers.

The family lives in Florida but are currently in New York for medical treatment for the children.  Yesterday, while Yvonne was in the hospital with some of the kids, Jon took two of the babes (Sam and Selah) on a walk along the Erie Canal.  Unfortunately the stroller the two kids were in  rolled off the walkway and into the Erie Canal when Jon was checking to see what time it was on his phone.  He immediately jumped in after them but both kids were buckled in the stroller. The Canal is swift and the current strong.  Jon had to fight just to hold the stroller up and was only able to get Sam above water.  Someone jumped in, got Sam unbuckled and got him out.  Another person jumped in to help Jon get the stroller with Selah out of the water.  They did rescue breathing on Selah until help arrived.  Sam is okay but Selah is not expected to live.  PLEASE PRAY.  Pray for Selah.  Pray for Yvonne and Jon as they are in shock and terror.  Pray church.  Pray.

The family blog is HERE.  Please  go over and let the family know you are praying.

  3. I don't know how I came up with "the Vances" - they're the Clantons! The prayers will be heard, either way, of course...
