From Crib to Sky

A year ago, he was wasting away  in a crib.

Yesterday, he was flying high!

BE JEALOUS!!

I got to see a very very special little boy.

Yep - That's Keith.

One of our Mulligan Stew babes from last year!!

His Mama and Papa made a special trip to the homeschool convention in Cincinnati, Ohio so I could shower him with hugs and kisses.

YOU HELPED BRING HIM HOME LAST YEAR!!

You helped bring home two of his sisters too.... and I got to shower them with kisses too!!

Seriously...

Driving 8 hours and standing for 10 hour days is completely worth it when I get to hold such blessings!!

The blessings didn't stop there for me...

Last night I was invited over to meet another Reece's Rainbow family and was privileged to enjoy the amazing company of Mr. Eli Lentz....

Wow!

This little guy had me laughing the entire time I was there..

He is such a wonderful gift from God. To think that this treasure was destined for the living hell of an adult mental institution...

I know we can't save every child, but yesterday I was privileged to hold in my arms four rescued babes.

What we do mattered to them.

It matters to the 7 families and 12 babes in this Mulligan Stew.

It matters to the Unroe family, who are struggling to raise what they need for the three they are bringing home this year.

  

In last year's Mulligan Stew, the Unroes were the last to make it over our $2,000.00 wall. At the convention yesterday, Amanda shared with me her fear that they would be last again this year.

I told Amanda it didn't matter who was first or last; I just want to see everyone make it over. 

What I neglected to tell her-- what she is learning right now along with all of you-- was that A GENEROUS DONOR HAS OFFERED HER FAMILY A $500.00 MATCHING GRANT!

YEP!

Starting today, if we can raise $500.00 for the Unroes, then they will automatically receive another $500 in their grant account.

Help me help them over!!

But I'm not done with the matching grants...

The Lord has been pouring them on....

Generous donors have offered TWO MORE MATCHING GRANTS-- one for the Johnsons, and another for the Taylors.

All of these grants are coming from different donors, and I praise God for each of them!!
