Their Papa and Mama are traveling now as I type this post to bring them home!

Oh I am so overcome!

They were the hard to adopt boys who scared everyone off with their diagnosis and age.  Look at them.  They are so NOT scary.  They are just boys.  Emmitt SANG to the Bakers.  He read to them.  He is SMART.  Frank was ready to go as soon as they walked in the door.  He is overflowing with joy that finally finally finally someone would want him!

  5. Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."

Esther 4:14 ",,,who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?"

Praise God for all those who go where He has called to bring home "the least of these."

Matthew 25:31 ".... I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." Our children others considered throwaways, God considered his most precious.

  7. One of the posts that made a big impression on me that your husband wrote was about Heath, using the imagery of Dr, Manette in the Tale of Two Cities (one of my most favorite books). Since that day I have prayed for Heath by name while I generically pray for almost all of the children you advocate. It makes my heart glad to see Heath looking a lot better than I imagined. I would absolutely love to know more about him and hope his family is willing to share as much as they are comfortable sharing.

Heath is the face of the Lost Boys for me. I completely imagined someone helpless. Seeing him makes me wonder how our idea of how someone is and how they really are could radically be different. I pray God opens doors for the nameless others, but Heath will always be the boy I pray for by name long after he is carried from that orphanage.

  9. Julia,

I, too, was grieving over Sutter a few days ago. I am so very happy a family has committed to him. I am praying for that family. And for him as well.

Thank you for updating about the families. What wonderful, super news.
