It is November 1st!!
That means that the Angel Tree has now begun.

This is Ruslan
He has been listed for FOREVER on Reece's Rainbow.
He's got so many strikes against him... his age, living in a mental institute and he is a Hep B carrier.
But I am praying and hoping and longing for him to find a Forever Family.
For those who don't know .... The Angel Tree is Reece's Rainbow's Biggest Shout Out every year for the children with Down Syndrome who are available for adoption.
The goal is to raise $1,000.00 in each of their grant accounts AND to raise AWARENESS so that people will SEE these children and families will step forward to adopt them.
This year EVERY SINGLE CHILD WITH DOWN SYNDROME ON THE REECE'S RAINBOW SITE is ON the Angel Tree.
PLUS... a host of other children with other special needs are also on the tree.
Each child is supposed to have a WARRIOR who has stepped up to shout for that child.
We've been WARRIORS for several years now.
There is an entire group on Facebook where all the Warriors congregate. I love that group. We fight together. We cry together. We shout Praises to God together. We support each other. We work as a group to get ALL the children SEEN and to have ALL the children meet their $1,000.00 goal.
Sadly... there are still 22 Reece's Rainbow babes who are without Warriors.
No one has stepped up to say they will be their voice.
BEING A WARRIOR IS NOT HARD.
Goodness me.... In reality it is instead quite inspiring!!
It is a front row seat to see GOD AT WORK.
Every time one of the babes lands on the My Family Found Me section we all cheer like we have won the lottery.
Many of the Warriors can't raise the $1,000.00.
IT DOES NOT MATTER.
What matters much more than the money is the prayers and the love and the voice that a Warrior brings to each of these children.
Please won't you consider picking one of these babes?
Just a few weeks ago an advocate for Reece's Rainbow put a picture of one of the children on Reece's Rainbow up in their church.
A family in the church saw the child's picture and searched their hearts and said "Yes."
