Joy Comes in the Morning

Psalm 30: 4-5

Sing to the LORD, you saints of his;
praise his holy name.
For his anger lasts only a moment,
but his favor lasts a lifetime;
weeping may remain for a night,
but JOY comes in the morning.

Psalm 30: 11-12

You turned my wailing into dancing;
you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,
that my heart may sing to you and not be silent.
O LORD my God, I will give you thanks forever.

God is good.

  1. I'm soo happy to see Aaron at home with his brothers and family!! Can't wait for more pictures!!

  2. Anyone else notice the resemblance between the boys? It's unreal. :) You are blessed Julia!

  3. This makes me smile. Oh what joy to see brothers having fun together. Psalm 30 was the whole theme of our last adoption journey. When we got home and went to church I actually jumped up and down with pure joy knowing all my brother and sisters in Christ had been praying for us. Even though this was an extremely hard trial, I bet you wouldn't trade what the Lord has taught you through this whole journey.David and I are blessed by your blog :)

  4. I've spent the past 2 days getting caught up on your journey bringing Aaron home. I read from July through the present, and while I hardly need another adoption blog to keep up on, I can't resist his beautiful smile!

  5. Oh these are wonderful pictures! They so happy and bonded together, as though they've been brothers their entire lives :)

  6. Oh, those pictures!!!! I can barely see to type behind the blur of joyful tears.I love seeing the three of them together. How good God is!

  7. What happy homecoming pictures!!

    ...I gotta say, though, my favorite thing was the expression on the dog's face in the second picture! I'm still giggling to myself!!

  8. What a handsome group of boys!
    I am so happy and RELIEVED that you are home.

    I remember the first thing I noticed when we arrived at the airport in Atlanta Ga.... SMILING FACES!
    We arrived after the airport had been shut down due to a security breach, but the people in Customs were AWESOME! The guy took our super secret sealed folder and said, "Welcome to America!"
    Wow, what a difference. LOL

    You guys are going to have so much fun with all of Aaron's "firsts".

  9. Such nice pictures! So glad Aaron is finally home with his family -- where he belongs and receives the love and attention every child should have.

  10. I love the second picture! Dog included! Your three sons were meant to be brothers! I can't believe someone would lock Aaron away in an institute!! He has so much potential!

  11. The pictures are beautiful and makes me want to think that someone else saw Aaron and many children like him, worthless, while all the while he has so much potential! It even looks as if your dog is smiling!

  12. What wonderful pictures! So glad your boy is home!

  13. Love all these pics. It is so wonderful to see Aaron at home with his brothers... just like it should be. And, he is so handsome! He looks so healthy and happy :)

  14. Carol and I were thinking that Aaron might benefit from a service dog. I'm not sure where to go around here, but we know that service dogs are matched up with handicapped children and adults.

Loving words from kind people make our hearts glad!
