Hidden Treasures

They were Lost Boys.

All three destined to spend their lives locked away from the rest of the world.

Hidden Treasures in Faraway Places.

Aaron was the first one to be found.

A picture and a whisper caused us to drop everything and go.

What we found shocked us.  Saddened us.  Forced us to reconsider our lives.

He lived in a world of sheds.

Each day of the 45 days we walked the roads to visit our little son and rescue him from a lifetime of shed-sitting, we saw two little boys - Brady and Heath.  The only two out of an institute full of boys who had a chance. One chance of breaking free.

 They were available for adoption.

Hope.

We came home and screamed.  And yelled.

Brady's family stepped up first.  Six months after we left those gates sweet Judd (Brady) ran free.

Heath was harder.  For two years we shouted and prayed.  Many others prayed and shouted.

And finally, finally... a family stepped forward.

Last year Boden (Heath) was redeemed.

Three Lost Boys.

Three families forever bonded together.

All three families adopting again.

Two going back for the Lost Boys they left behind.

We are crossing the ocean for our little girlie.

Three families.

Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.  But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
