My Eyes Have Seen

Now there was a man in Jerusalem called Simeon, who was righteous and devout. He was waiting for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was on him.  It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not die before he had seen the Lord’s Messiah.  Moved by the Spirit, he went into the temple courts. When the parents brought in the child Jesus to do for him what the custom of the Law required, Simeon took him in his arms and praised God, saying:

“Sovereign Lord, as you have promised,
you may now dismiss your servant in peace.
For my eyes have seen your salvation,
which you have prepared in the sight of all nations:
a light for revelation to the Gentiles,
and the glory of your people Israel.”

The child’s father and mother marveled at what was said about him. Then Simeon blessed them and said to Mary, his mother: “This child is destined to cause the falling and rising of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be spoken against,  so that the thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. And a sword will pierce your own soul too.”

LET YOUR EYES SEE AND YOUR EARS HEAR ON THIS CHRISTMAS MORN.

THE MESSIAH HAS COME!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM THE NALLE FAMILY!

Be Impressed

We are busy getting ready for Christmas around here.

This is one of those years where we didn't arrive at Christmas triumphantly...

It's been a weird few weeks with sickness rearing its ugly head and exhaustion wearing us down.

But many hands make light work....

Ben and Elijah jumped in and wrapped all the presents...

My dear dad has been helping in a multitude of ways in the last few weeks...

and the littlest....

Well...

Be Impressed.

For a little guy whose hands don't quite work as he would choose...

He made these presents all by himself.

Be Impressed.

Mine is the field of flowers growing happily under a bright yellow sun.  It is already safe in our China cabinet.

A Nightmare I Don't Understand!

Artem.  Serge.  Arina.  Yegor.  Jack.  Nikita.  Sonny. Celine

All babes who I have been yelling for, crying over, lifting to the throne.

All babes who are on Reece's Rainbow.

Some now have families who are still in process to get them.  Some don't have committed families yet..

What do they have in common?  All these babes of mine and so many more?

700 more listed on Reece's Rainbow!!!

What do they have in common???

They are all from the same country.  Rus*ia.  And all of them right now are caught in a web of craziness that is hard for me to even wrap my brain around.

In fact I haven't even blogged about it because it was beyond belief that it was even happening.

I've been watching and praying for weeks now.  I've been reading and following and wondering.  And I've been in total denial because the enormity of what may take place if Rus*ian adoptions stop is so horrible that I just can't even go there with my mind.

I am not going to try to explain what is happening on this blog because frankly it is truly beyond me.  In a nutshell... our government made their government mad and the means by why which they are getting back is to end all Rus*ian adoptions by Americans.

So this week a ban against adoptions by Americans has been weaving its way up the ladder.   In the end, President Putin will have the final say.

That is the whole mess in a few sentences.

You can read more HERE and HERE.

I don't begin to understand why babies are pawns in world affairs.

Dear Friends,

There are a huge amount of Reece's Rainbow families who are in process. Some have just started and some are just waiting to finish and bring their babies home.

EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THESE FAMILIES IS GOING THROUGH MAJOR EMOTIONAL CRISIS AS THEY WATCH AND WAIT AND WORRY OVER THEIR PRECIOUS LITTLE ONES!!

I don't even know how to get my mind around the entire nightmare and I most certainly don't even know what to say to all those who are watching the news in shock and dismay.

So many are my friends and I am just absolutely grieving along with them as we watch all of this play out.

If you want to do something PRACTICAL go read and sign this petition.  I cried as I read it.  It is a beautiful picture of what adoption looks like!  It is also a real look at what mental institutions are like in Ru*sia.  It spells out CLEARLY what happens to the special needs orphans who are NOT ADOPTED.  Please go sign.

Most importantly - PLEASE PRAY.

Pray that God will intervene and change hearts and minds.  Pray that reason will prevail.  Pray that the voice of the voiceless will be heard.  Pray because there are thousands of  special needs babes who will be lost in the system. There will be thousands of other children who will spend their entire childhoods locked behind walls only to be discharged at 16 with a few dollars and the clothes on their back.  Please. Pray comfort and peace for the families.  Pray that God will cause their hearts to be still before Him.  That they would have the ability in the midst of the chaos to cling.

PRAY CHURCH.

THESE BABIES NEED US TO BE ON OUR KNEES BEFORE THE THRONE!!

THE FAMILIES NEED US TO LIFT THEM UP.

PRAY CHURCH!!

Darren

I want to walk away.  I want to let it all go.  I want to shut down Facebook and change my e-mail address.  I want to tell all of those families who have crossed the ocean to adopt their treasures to stop sending me pictures and stories of the children they left behind.

I don't want my heart broken anymore.

I don't want to hear any more stories of little boys who are going to be transferred.

I don't want to  know about little boys like Darren.

 Darren.

One more orphan among so many.

One more little boy who has reached that non-magical age in the baby house world where car rides mean transfer to places of grief and sorrow.

One more orphan in mismatched clothes.

Just another orphan.

Just one more little guy with a heart of compassion.  Yes, that is Darren.  Comforting a friend.  Patting him on the back.

I don't want to know about a sweet, compassionate little boy who will be locked away forever unless a family goes to get him.

My heart hurts.

It just does.

There are so many like Darren who need families.

When will it end?  When will it end?

The tears won't stop.

Click HERE to get to the Angel Tree.

Please go look at all the babes.  They all have ONE THING in common.

Trinity 23  Erika Cyril K.

Every single one of them is without a family.  Every single one of them is going to miss Christmas this year.  Every single one of them is alone and lonely.  Every single one of them.

Kristie (2001) Kyle 14G Donovan

The tears just won't stop.

Angelia Nastya (11) Weston 9HA

These are but a few of the babes who are causing me such pain.  All of them are under 500.

Alexander (2H)  Tessa (Asia) Aurora 15H

Oh Dear Lord.

I seriously want to walk away.

The Bottom of the Tree

97 babes are under 500 on the Angel Tree.  75 babes of them are under 400.

I count them every day.  Actually I count them about 10-15 times a day.

I don't have any prizes to give.  I don't have any ideas on how to move them up.

I am out of ideas.

But that 500 wall sits there and stares at me.

How are we ever going to get all the babes over the 1,000 wall if we can't scale the 500 wall???

See these babes... These are the babes who are on the very bottom of the tree.

They all have less than 325.00 in their account.

Monica 8W Tobie 5G Trinity 23 Alexa 23HA Tessa (Asia) Daniel 2H Vincent 8W Tobin Nastya (11) Arielle 14G Camille 36F Dennis Lincoln Erika Jay Lynn Levi 26HA Abraham 15H Cyril K. Wilson (2007) Aurora 15H Serenity 15H Stacy

Sadly these are the babes who have trailed at the bottom of the tree the entire time.  They just keep trading places with each other.

BREAK.MY.HEART.

I figure that is how it is in their babyhouses and institutes too.

They are at the very bottom.

Could someone help me move these babes up today?

Anyone?

Get these babes off the bottom of the tree!

P.S. - Don't forget to get your Angel Tree Dollars!!  I got mine yesterday.  They are one of my favorite parts of Christmas morning.  After finding them in our stockings we take the time to pick our babes on the Angel Tree.  They also make great presents to give to teachers, neighbors and anyone else!!  They are easy to do and help raise awareness for all the children on the tree.
