Rule Change

Ugh!!  Ever have the rules of a game changed in the middle of the game??

Not fun!

Makes you want to quit playing the game!

Unfortunately Brady Murray had a rule change happen two days before the end.

According to the ORIGINAL rules, only ONE vote PER PERSON, PER DAY was allowed.  But they didn't set up their program to accept only one vote per day per device SO...  Everyone participating believed that you could do multiple votes per day!  Everyone was definitely confused by the whole process.  

Apparently the powers that be were aware that multiple voting was taking place but let it go because everything happening was being done honestly.  And the competition was bringing awareness to some very worthy causes.  BUT THEN ONE OF THE CONTESTANTS STARTED CHEATING.  They started using a machine to get their votes in.  This changed everything.  

So two days from the end... things are a bit in limbo.  

But Brady received word that NO ONE HAS CHEATED FOR HIM!! That's huge!!  

From what I understand... THEY STILL WANT EVERYONE TO VOTE TODAY AND TOMORROW BUT YOU ONLY NEED TO DO IT ONE TIME... NOT TEN!!  If you have several computers/phones etc. in your house... You are welcome to vote from each one.  But you don't need to vote more than once from each device!!

Super-easy.

The fact that SO MANY OF US voted for Brady's video means that HE HAS A WONDERFUL CHANCE OF WINNING!  More now than before because his votes were from MANY of us who took the time to vote 10 times instead of ONE person generating votes through a machine!!

SO THE RULES HAVE CHANGED... SIGH... BUT AWARENESS FOR A WHOLE BUNCH OF CHILDREN HAS BEEN HUGE.... HURRAH!!  

And if Brady wins EVEN MORE AWARENESS IF GOING TO HAPPEN.

So do still vote the next two days!!  It is NOT a waste!

I could be fussed about the whole thing... The fact that we 'wasted' our time over the last two days voting..

Honestly though... I never ever would have noticed this little guy clinging to his puppy until now...

Because of him.. I'm not fussed.  I'm grateful that my eyes were opened to sweet little DUGAN and his puppy. 

His description says that he plays with his friends, loves to draw, can dance, is calm and is 'touchy'.  

Oh touchy little Dugan with your little dog... 

Is there a Mama out there who would be willing to cross the ocean to go get you? Gently and tenderly hold you?  Fill your little bed up with stuffed animals?  Put a smile on your serious little face?  Is there?
