Eight Babes

Sometimes... in the midst of Stew Cooking....

You have to stop and take a break....

We are right now yelling for EIGHT BABES.  Every day - throughout the day - I am forever checking the My Family Found Me Page on Reece's Rainbow.  Each new face on there is a Victory!  And when it is one of 'mine'... one of the kids we yelled about here on this crazy blog.... I just brim over with emotion.

Yesterday we yelled quickly and loudly for precious Harmony.   For a few short hours her picture was made available for anyone to see.  Frustratingly enough - Sunday is the WORST day for getting the word out because a lot of people don't do FB or read blogs on Sunday.  So her audience was limited.   Those of us who DID see her picture were BLESSED!!  She is a precious little girl.  And to think that she has ONLY a few months before she LOSES all her chances for a family.

Laurel too.

We need to scream at the top of our lungs for these two kids.  LAUREL AND HARMONY.  They are worthy of having a family.  They are NOT too old.  They are NOT too far gone.  They have their entire lives ahead of them. Please keep yelling and giving.  They have just a short period of time before they age out... WE ARE TALKING MERE MONTHS!!

---------------------------------------

PLEASE.... Go over to THIS BLOG.... There is a BEAUTIFUL story on there about this woman...

Marilyn Schmatz

I was SO BLESSED to read her story.  Thank You, Saving His Sparrows, for sharing it!!  It is an encouragement for us to keep fighting for Laurel and Igor and Victoria...

They are so worth it!!

  1. Thanks for all you do for these kids! Your voice makes a difference! It is so exciting to see "my" kids grants going up - can't wait till they appear on the "My Family Found Me" page! Thanks for sharing my blog - I hope Marilyn's story will give someone courage to step out for these kids - to know that there is hope for them, that their lives can make a difference if they are just given a chance!

  3. Thank you so much for this Mulligan Stew. We are delighted to see Jack on the list-- he's had our hearts for a very long time. Unfortunately we are not eligible to adopt him, but we are so excited to see his chances of finding a family go up with every donation! We've donated to the Heim family and to Jack's fund. The total was $320.00.

  4. Started my first round of the tasty Mulligan Stew with a $100 donation to the Heim Family. Once my pocketbook digests this I will be back for seconds. Look forward to being part of each child's journey home.
