Sometimes I just have to brag...
Last night was opening night for the Sound of Music and Rob and the boys rocked the show!!
My husband makes an amazing Captain. There are just no words for how well he did last night.
Ben nailed his song.... This Mama was beyond proud!
Aaron wasn't in last night's show so this was a dress rehearsal picture (without the costume). He can't wait to do HIS SHOW today!
AND ELIJAH.... He was just a delight to watch on stage. His voice carried all the way to the back.
I do all the backstage managing. Usually opening nights are pretty rough but last night went way beyond all expectations. It was seriously fun to watch!
If you are in the Charlottesville area - You seriously need to come watch this one!!
We have three more shows this week and three more next weekend.
THE HILLS ARE ALIVE WITH THE SOUND OF MUSIC!
P.S. - I didn't take the above pictures. Being manager has a few privileges! Since I can't take pictures I was able to beg a few off the photographer so I could post them on the blog today.
Oh man, I really really really wish I there to see this! Your boys/man have the most beautiful voices!
ReplyDeleteI wish too I could have been there!!!
ReplyDeleteYour fellas did *such* a great job last night! It's been so fun to work with them :) And thanks for all the work you do behind the scenes - things would not have gone so smoothly without you! See ya tomorrow afternoon....*grin*
ReplyDeleteI would also LOVE to see this!!! I have the chills just looking at the pictures!!!! You sure are BLESSED with these beautiful men in your life!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the pictures! That is one of my all-time favorite plays and movies.
ReplyDeleteWhen I looked at your pictures I could tell what songs they were singing. Think I've watched that movie 4372 times?
ReplyDeleteGlad it all went well.
Really wish I lived closer so I could come see this. I love the Sound of Music and it looks like you guys did an amazing job on it.

Looks like fun. Love to come watch.
ReplyDeleteWOW! I would love to hear them but can't afford the air fare. Any chance of a video? The picture's look fantastic.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure with being given the lead roles, Rob and the boys have amazing voices!

What an amazingly talented family you have!
ReplyDeleteFun to see this story continue. My grandfather was Irwin Kostal (see credits for scene coming over the hill at the beginning). We are totally wiped by our adoption and family life; so good to see that you are able to do it "all" and still keep the joy of extracurriculars. Looks like your show did a great job!
ReplyDeleteP.S. On the new Reece's Rainbow list, "Zabrina" was our daughter's best friend in "groupa." We are so excited to see her get a chance for a family, and will try to advocate for her. However, her orphanage is so much better than what Heath is enduring. I still pray for him!
