Three More Treasures

Matthew 25:34-40

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

I love how God works.  I love how He uses one person's story to affect another and another and another.

Last year a sweet woman crossed the ocean and helped a friend bring her daughter back home.  In doing so, her heart broke for a little girl left behind.

So she crossed the ocean for her daughter and  her heart was broken again.

Her daughter had a friend.

A precious precious little girl who has the gentlest of spirits and the brightest of smiles.

This sweet Mama vowed to be a voice for that sweet girl.

Many are raising their voices to find this child a family and I am joining in the chorus.

Iris needs a family!!!

More importantly....

THERE IS A FAMILY OUT THERE WHO NEEDS IRIS!

Our table has one more precious treasure.

But I'm not done because another precious precious treasure is also being invited.

She was at the top of my list.

I love this precious little girl.

She reminds me so much of my Aaron.

For all those who are Aaron fans out there - WON'T YOU CONSIDER THIS LITTLE GIRL???

I'm not going to stop yelling until this little girl gets a home.

She is going to rock someone's world!

Finally... finally.... our table needs one more girl.

One who has waited far too long.

She is the SAME AGE as my Elijah.

Next month she will celebrate another birthday alone.

That is just not acceptable.

Her future in her country is bleak beyond words.

She faces a lifetime of rejection because she carries a virus that was not her fault.

Not.On.My.Watch.

Pull up a chair, Estelle.
You have an army of people who are going to pray you into a family!

THREE MORE TREASURES.

PRECIOUS GIRLS.

Our stew pot continues to simmer.

Prayers are needed.

“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?  When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

  1. Julia!! Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU for including Iris at your table! I am grateful beyond words for what you are doing for her and all the other children. I look forward to the day when my adopted daughter's best friend has a family of her own.

  2. By the way, Estelle is in the same "state" as Gerard, Yasmine, and Nicholas. I say that just in case her future adoptive family may want to adopt more than one.
