Two More Lost Boys

They are both in the same village.

Two Lost Boys who need us to yell for them...

For those who wondered and asked....

YES THEY ARE MOST DEFINITELY INVITED TO SIT AT THE TABLE!!

I could never leave them out.

Alexei  and Porter.

Alexei is probably living inside this building

Maybe on the same floor as Heath (the first floor).

Porter - well.... we know he is in the village but we don't know exactly where.

BUT HE IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!

Two little boys who are desperate for love.

NEITHER WILL EVER EVER GET OUT OF THE SYSTEM UNLESS THEY ARE ADOPTED.

That is the reality for those two Lost Boys and the other three we have invited.

Add them to our list and we have five sweet boys ready to be fed at our table.

Five boys.

The stew is slowly cooking on the stove.

These things take time.

These things take prayer.

We have more babes to invite.

We have families to seat too.

Tomorrow I am off to South Carolina for a Homeschooling Convention.

As I have said before - this isn't the best of times.

We are so grateful for all the prayers that have been lifted for our little guy and our family this past week.

Aaron's grateful for his Aunt Sam and the HUGE bag of candy that she brought him.

Candy can always get Aaron smiling!!

Especially when it involves Reece's Peanut Butter Cups!!

Yum!

He's doing well all things considering.  The itching in the casts is definitely a challenge.  He's taking naps each day for the first time since he has been home with us which is a new normal.  It's hard to get into a deep sleep when every movement is a reminder that you are encased on three sides!!

Pooh Bear continues to provide him moral support.

We are counting down the days until the casts come off.

19.

Sigh.

  1. Just looking at Aaron's face is a blessing! Tell him I said he is FULL of courage-so strong that when things which would undo superheroes come, Aaron is not undone! Thank you, Lord!!! Love, Kelly M

  3. This is totally unrelated, but Aaron really has beautiful hands. Piano-playing fingers :-) - although I suppose that he cannot really play the piano..... Is he interested in playing another instrument?

  5. Hi Julia,
It was so nice to meet you this afternoon at the convention. I wish I had done a better job at expressing how much I enjoy reading your blog. I didn't have much time but even if I had I probably couldn't have conveyed what a blessing it has been to read your blog and see Aaron. I am also praying for him and for the boys you are so passionate about rescuing. Thank you for sharing your blog and for helping to open my eyes to their situation.
Please tell Aaron we hope he and Pooh Bear both feel a lot better soon!
    Angelena :)
