I Am In Denial!

IT IS THE MIDDLE OF AUGUST FOR PETE'S SAKE....

I don't want him to go back to school!

I don't.  I don't.  I don't.

I already miss his sweet face and his noisy chatter in this way too quiet house!!

COME ON PEOPLE.... IT IS STILL SUMMER!!!

Why oh why are kids sitting at desks when there are still weeks and weeks of sunny days left??

At least he has a sweet teacher and LOVES his classmates....

But dang it.... I want to go back to the days when school started after Labor Day!

I'm just not ready.

I am not ready.

I am not.

.....tomorrow we take Ben to college....

Things are just not going my way right now!

  1. Sounds like you need prayers if things are not going your way right now, Mrs. Nalle. I will pray for that Mama Heart of yours. I will pray for Ben, and as well as your whole entire family during this hard time of the family being all separated from one another.
    Love,
    Christina

  2. I thought you homeschooled?? yes back to school is heartbreaking. we don't go back for weeks yet. day after labor day. I will miss them. the house will be quiet. but I am ready for a break from their constant needs. hugs. my worry is sending sophie to school after the humoral osteotomy. she falls so often. usually face first. daily. multiple times a day. she cries she shakes it off and goes back to walking. but after that surgery Im worried when she falls something bad will happen. I have banned her from walking at school or anywhere else without holding hands. surgery is Friday.......

  3. Oksana wants to know what grade Aaron is in this year, how old he is, and what is on his backpack ;). We start tomorrow. I have very mixed feelings about it all.

    1. Tell Oksana that Aaron just turned nine. He is in 1st/2nd grade and he has his name on his backpack!!

  4. You raised your Ben to be a strong young man and equipped him to face the world. Time to let your big, little cub face the world, Mama Bear.

You can do it, plus someday if you want grandchildren, you have to let him go now :)
