Update on Masha...

UPDATE: MASHA AND ANOTHER LITTLE BOY EDDIE WHO ARE IN THE SAME ORPHANAGE AND WHO BOTH FACE TRANSFER IN THE NEXT WEEK HAVE BEEN GIVEN SIZABLE DONATIONS TO COVER A LARGE CHUNK OF THEIR ADOPTION. MASHA NOW HAS 17,000 DOLLARS AND EDDIE HAS 16,000. THEY BOTH DESPERATELY NEED PAPER-READY FAMILIES (OR ONE FAMILY TO TAKE BOTH...)

THIS IS A POST FROM ANDREA at Reece's Rainbow:

"I am waiting for a call back from our facilitation team about how quickly we would need to have a family THERE to adopt these children, and if it is even possible to postpone their transfer. But anyone who is interested would have to be:

1) financially comfortable enough to show a judge you have the resources to care for these children
2) have private health insurance already in place
3) be nearly PAPER READY....this means already approved in a *current* and completed home study to adopt two older children with significant special needs
4) and either already have USCIS approval or just need to update it. You need to be ready to travel SOON.
MARRIED COUPLES ONLY!!"

This is Eddie and this is what a family who saw him just a month ago said about him....

Eddie was NOT liked by the nannies, for whatever reason. None of them. They treated him like an animal. Yes, I saw this first-hand with my own eyes. He was shut away in a dark room because he fussed to get out of his playpen little prison when I came into the room. All he wanted was some affection, an ounce of love. There is more, but this is enough for now. Breaks my heart...

Two children - both in the same orphanage.  Both seen by doctors this week.  Paperwork is being prepared for these two children.  Both will be sent away to an adult mental institute.  For Life.  Please Pray.

PLEASE PRAY....

  1. Mrs. Nalle! The judge in Russia has given the Hooks (not sure of the other families) a court date!

    figured you'd want to know!

  2. Wow, FANTASTIC grants! Oh, I hope there is a paper ready family out there somewhere to save both these little sweethearts, now that they are almost fully funded. Praying hard!

And good news from Russia too! Made my day :)

  5. I love how quickly those funds are coming in... I fit none of the categories except being married...no my kids but precious none-the-less. Makes me want to pray that more families will go expecting to adopt a given child and ready to adopt another that the Lord will give them at the last minute when in country so that more are rescued... Praying for that!
