I'm ill tonight. What I posted today - While We....
Let's just say that the reality of it is knocking me off my feet.
Why?
Because I found out today that another little one is getting ready to be Lost.
Little Masha.
The little one in the picture from this morning's post...
She is tiny. A 12 month old baby would outweigh her. She is not 12 months old. She is four years old. The Burman's saw this sweet angel THIS MORNING when they visited their precious Carrington. They marveled at her sweetness. She laughed and waved at them. She played peek a boo. They were overcome with love for this tiny little four year old baby. But horror overcame them as they watched today. The doctors showed up. They were there to examine those children who are Masha's age. Their job - give them medicals so that they will have all their papers in order when they are transferred.
Transferred.
A four year old baby girl - transferred to an adult mental institute.
Masha.
Just days away from transfer.
Masha is being transferred to an adult facility.
It makes me sick.
Only a family who is PAPER-READY has a chance of rescuing her.
She needs a miracle.
While we love on our kids.... tuck them in bed tonight.... pray over their little heads....
While we watch our TV's and read our books... While we go about our lives...
Little Masha is getting prepared to be sent away. For Life.
Dear Lord - Please send someone to rescue this little one... Please.....
I will pray that sweet Masha gets a family very soon! That is absolutely heartbreaking!
ReplyDeletePraying for this precious little one.
ReplyDeleteJulia, I know so many wonderful pray-ers read your blog...PRAY, people, PRAY! Pray that mountains be moved and miracles happen, for Masha and the other children about to be sent away. Her family is out there...
ReplyDeleteLifting her up, sweet Jesus, hear our prayers...
ReplyDeleteMy heart is broken! Lord Jesus, please bring her a family quickly and protect her with your angels! Praying!
ReplyDeleteI can't take it.
ReplyDeleteOh Julia, I am in tears for beautiful little Masha. Please let their be a miracle and her family find her now.
ReplyDeleteCan you tell me if this sweet and precious Masha is listed on Reece's Rainbow or another site? I didn't see her there and would like to post about her on my facebook to draw attention to her and just possibly stir someone's heart for her.
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw Masha's photo in your post today, I got this huge lump in my throat. She's a jewel that someone tossed away. Every family that has met her has fallen in love with her...but they had to leave her behind. It's not fair and I'll never accept it.
ReplyDeleteThank you dear friend for standing with me in the battle.
What does it mean to be "paper-ready"? She is so sweet. THis crazy part of me says she could be mine...
ReplyDeleteHello there!
ReplyDeleteI am an adoptive parent myself (of 2 daughters with special needs). A friend referred me to your blog today and I've spent the last hour or so reading. Heartbreaking and beautiful at the same time.
I am also an undergrad student and my semester project this spring is on the social injustice of the treatment of orphans, particularly disabled ones. Would it be possible to use any images off your blog for my project as you have some pretty powerful ones?
My email is lin_z20000@yahoo.com
Thank you,
Lindsey
Although her situation seems impossible, I have a crazy hope that someone will step forward. That someone will save this tiny, precious little one from being "Lost"...
